Ross Norwood

Ross and her dogs
Ross Norwood grew up all over the world as the youngest daughter of an Army Colonel. Her family eventually settled in Texas during her high school and college years. After receiving her bachelor of arts in history from the University of Texas in Austin, Ross went to work for the Texas Beef Council as Director of International Marketing. She spent six years working with the beef council, traveling to Latin America, Mexico, Asia, as well as all over the United States. She married her college boyfriend in 1999 and moved to join him in New Hampshire, where he works as a senior physicist for a large defense contractor. Ross continued to work in marketing in New England until the birth of her daughter, Jamison, in 2003. She has been a stay at home mother since that time, but enjoys volunteering her time for animal related causes. She is guardian to three rescues: Tasse, a Pit Bull cross; Mason, a camera-shy Golden Retriever cross; and Britain, a Weimaraner cross. Ross is passionate about animal welfare issues, especially pet overpopulation and guardian education.
